The colors and views of these sights were amazing. We were probably full peak for leaf change season. This is a fairly new campground with a variety of options for stay. Domes , cabins , tents and camper sites. All areas extremely clean and private. The staff and owners were welcoming and periodically checked to make sure we were good and to let us know of all the group activities if we wanted to join. So nice! Bath house clean and close. Lots of beautiful trails to walk or bike and the broad river is about a ten minute walk from the clubhouse. We had a wonderful stay and will certainly return.
Tybee island is just outside of Savanna Georgia. Beautiful southern charm. On site pool, general store, bike ride to the beach or around the whole island -very private. Tour the light house and many other local activities. Campsite was soft white pebbles with beautiful historic trees. No see ums were a bit aggravating - this could just have been the time of year. Most people had screened in sitting areas. The bath houses were super clean and individual- nice size pool- great to relax in after a day at the beach. This was another great week of adventure for the books!!
This was our first camping trip - recommended by friends. We loved it so much we booked it for the following year before we left. The sound of the stream was so peaceful and relaxing. My husband did yoga every morning while I hung in my hammock and watched. The other campers were so friendly we interacted with them all week. We hiked mount Mitchell- cooked on our fire pit and relaxed with the fresh mountain air and starry nights - slept peacefully with the sounds of the running stream. I couldn’t imagine a better place to start our new venture of camping - an adventure for the books for sure!! Also the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful with all our needs!!!
