Friend found this spot amongst a bentonite field it's quiet dark relaxing and at the base of the cliffs
Nice quiet cove area out in the flatts, great for swiming and fishing. Camped here a few times the bugs aren't to bad and bring a toilet or hike in the bushes, it's usually quiet on this end and the rv and 5th wheels don't make it out this far so nice to have bbq and let the kids swim
Little further back from where the rv congregat, so it's quiet and peaceful, boat traffic isn't to bad and the shore line is great for kids to swim
Barrtlet is amazing the beaches aren't really rocky like Lake Pleasant and the boat traffic isn't to bad. Spent a few nights at this spot and in the flatts area. Recommend this area if you got kids water isn't to deep and mine kiddo played almost all day
Nice quiet off the side of the road spot grat for target shooting and quick bbq times
The site was amazing, tall trees, clean bathrooms, fire and bbq pits, also a bear safe for your food. Firewood is sold here for 8$ and the the camp hosts are really nice. Everything is with in walking distance of the camp sites and the drink water is next to the bathrooms. It was very quiet out there and at night the woods came to life with owls and coyotes howling but we didn't get to meet Lary the bear who apparently frequents the camp area looking for snacks.
Been to this area a few time the sites are amazing quiet and beautiful, the trail up is bumpy and fun. The site had a fire pit and in winter everything was covered in snow and just breath taking. The town has supplies but is over priced so fuel up before going up there.
Been here a few times for camping and day use, wild horse sometimes roaming threw the site, tables and fire pits, sometimes there's a stream but lately been either dry or very little water, bathrooms are hit or miss with Flys and smelly, they have trash cans but other seem to over fill them so please pack it put instead making a mess out there, with all the rain the vegetation has alot of the sites over grown. The rangers need to step up there game and get the sites cleaned up
Very clean bathrooms and showers we were on the west side of the hill so no lake view 😪, but over quiet and kind of hot today
So first time here and all I can say is wow. Clean site little heavy on the bugs could be from the large amounts of rain. Some site have bbq's some don't but all have fire pits. Bonus was the beautiful creek with the waterfall and swiming hole overall must stay
Nice little area off the highway, nothing really fancy. Has a few tables and that's it, and the view and trails are fun. And the overwatch up the road is amazing
Amazing views, but beware that sand is loose and can get stuck real quick. They have bathrooms scattered around.
Amazing view from bottom up but was even better from the top down, water is amazing
Nice area kids loved the water and my buddy caught some fish, pretty quiet until pride rave kick off and then drunk pontoon guy kept the entertained with his remarks over his PA system. Overall good times bring a Potty and privacy tent the bushes are littered with sh!t tickets.
Amazing camp ground, super quiet and clean and blew my mind seeing a deer and doe just wandering around the site amazing God country up here then so close to the grand canyon.
Very quiet and clean bathroom fly free, so relaxing we wanted to nap all the time, staff was friendly, and the views were amazing
