Absolutely love this campground! My aunt and I stayed for a week while visiting Acadia National Park. Sites right on the water. Woke up one morning to a bald eagle in a tree next to our site. Showers and toilets on site. Wifi available at one of the buildings where they also sell coffee in the morning. Close to hiking as well as lots of restaurants with great seafood. Would recommend to those looking for a nice campground for car camping while visiting Acadia.

Easy hike to the pond and sites. All the sites have a view of Sawyer Pond. Peaceful and relaxing. Only a handful of sites so get there early on weekends. I camped on on Tuesday night so all but one site were available when I arrived.

Have stayed here multiple times. Campground is clean and easy to register/pay. Wooded/private campsites. Access to some of the best hiking in New Hampshire!
