July 2020 I camped here with 3 others and was mesmerized by the beauty of this rural area. The road leading up to our campsite required patience and a reliable vehicle, but keep in mind you are driving 5 feet away from a deadly drop-off. We chose a campground nestled near a mountain and river. Perfectly secluded, relaxing, and rejuvenating. Most campgrounds here require a bit of a trek from car to fire pit. There are no restrooms in the area we camped, but that never stopped us from spending a week out there. Overall the views overpower all the negatives, take that as you will.
Deciding to camp here was a gamble but worth it. The road leading up was rocky and sketchy, but as long as you pay attention not a problem. The campsite itself was quiet and bare bones. Was not expecting an outhouse, so was splendidly surprised to be accommodated with that luxury. Overall beautiful woodlands with small streams running through the open fields and mountains looming in the distance.
