Really great experience. I took my pop up camper for a birthday trip and settled on the desert to avoid the snow and save money. My buddy and I went hunting nearby, I was surprised to come across beautiful sand dunes in the area, great hiking, great sunset, perfect spot.

Seems the campground is open for camping but all the loops and camp roads are closed off due to the snow. There’s a good amount of snow up there too.
