The campsite is right off of the 1 and adjacent with the ocean. Across the 1 from the campsite is a cute day park with stellar views. The camp host lives in a RV on the left when you pull up. You can check in there and the lady was super friendly. All sites are reserved with a piece of paper w clipped onto your camp post. Plenty of room for a car / two cars. Truck and small trailer. Garbage sites and bathrooms were very clean. The place was immaculate and the other campers were very friendly. $35/night. Our two dogs were welcome.
We arrived just at sunset and easily found a spot by the river. We settled next to a popular RV spot as we are two college girls and wanted to feel safe. Everyone was very nice and respectful of noise, space, and light. We took our Toyota Highlander and we didn’t encounter any obstacles to get to a site- Only thing was getting through some thick sand close to the river. We felt there was ample privacy and genuinely had a great time. Would highly recommend.
About 12 minute drive to the entrance to Bryce Canyon. The road and campsites were adorable and easily accessible. There was literally no one else here - probably because the temperature got down to 21 degrees and snowed over night. Would recommend on a warmer night. There were fire pits also.
Got here in the dark very worried about finding a spot but had no problem getting set up quickly. We found a quiet spot with great views. Our Toyota Highlander didn’t have the best time getting over some big rocks the deeper we went off the main road so we stayed close to the road. There seemed to be infinite amounts of sites you could go but most were taken due to our late arrival. Everyone there was quiet and respectful and waved as we drove by. We were two college girls and felt very safe sleeping alone there. We brought our dog and she loved it.
