Perfect

We had an amazing stay here. The manager helped us back in and helped us get set up—it was our first trip in our new rig. Having the beach literally right there was awesome. More sand dollars than I’ve ever seen on a beach in my life. Nice restrooms and laundry room. This park is heavily used by surfers, so as a result there’s a huge mix of rigs—from Sprinter vans and A-frame pop-ups all the way up to Class A. This location is close enough to Port Angeles that we went food shopping almost each day. Great wine tasting nearby, plus Hurricane Ridge and Dungeness Spit.

Enjoyed my stay!

This place has great little grassy areas next to each pull through—each one has a newly planted tree and a picnic table. The sites are level. Contrary to listing they do have 30 amp service. There’s a little playground for kids, as well as a warm, clean bathroom with showers. There’s a laundry room, which I didn’t use. This park is very near the Summer Lake Wildlife Refuge, which is a great place for birdwatching. Lots of little quail were hanging out in the park on my recent visit. If you need supplies, head over to the Summer Lake store, which has a very friendly owner. Otherwise the nearest real grocery store is about 72 miles away. Take a drive up to Fremont Lookout for a breathtaking view.

Clean, safe, comfortable

I had an easy stopover here on the way to Eastern Oregon. I didn’t want to use my tanks, so I used their restrooms. They were warm, clean, and well-lit. Walking back and forth from my trailer, I felt safe. There are plenty of big trees in the park which is lovely. Lots of full-timers live here, plus there is a portion that is mobile homes. There’s also a nice looking tent camping area, but it was cold and no one was there. They also have an area for walking the dogs. Good Sam discount. Contrary to the listing, they do have 30 amp service.
