Called ranger, campground is closed due to bathroom-related issues, said it probably won't open this year.
Pretty place with fire pits, picnic tables, trails, playgrounds, bathrooms, pay showers, and friendly staff.
Pretty trails. On weekdays it feels very secluded. Airplane noise does get a little out of hand. Trails, pit toilets, some rock fire pits, bring your metal one.
I go to this campground often. It is beautiful, and because of its altitude it is consistently several degrees cooler than the others in Anza. There are metal fire pits and pit toilets, no water. Beautiful trails with lots of flora and fauna and gorgeous viewpoints.
Some road noise, but not much. Pit toilets, and they recently added metal fire pits to sites. Beautiful views of the badlands. Dirt road is rough, but I drove a Versa there with no problem (though I didn't go super deep into the campground). Both times I went (April and October) it was very windy (especially April, dude, seriously), so be prepared for that.
This campground was very rough to get to in my Versa, and not a very good payoff upon arrival. Bathrooms were pretty gross. Views were nice enough. Not much to do, the only trail I found was closed. Lots of bugs. There was drinkable water, which was nice, and literally no one around.
Sites are not private by any stretch of the imagination, but the hosts were delightful, and there are water spigots outside the bathrooms (pit toilets).
Great area, but the sites are really right on top of each other, at least where I was.
Get there early or on an off day, it's busy these days. Gorgeous campground with a myriad of beautiful rock formations. Sites have metal fire pits, tables, 1-2 parking spaces. Pit toilets, no water. Very close to Barker Dam and other great sites.
I had no idea what to expect going to this campground, and it blew my freaking mind out was so beautiful. Definitely a climber's place, but also just gorgeous with lots of trails. So peaceful. I got the best sleep of my life at this place.
Beautiful place with cool rocks. Pit toilets, metal fire pits, tables. Geology trail and a short trail to Ryan Ranch. Close to Hall of Horrors and other cool sites. If you get the right space, it's pretty private, which is nice.
Lots of spaces available with fire pits, beautiful views, neat rocks. Quiet. Close to Bryce Canyon.
