The park is surprisingly wooded with pretty good spacing between the sites. The park was a great mix of nature in middle of civilization. We enjoyed our outings to Jamestown and the American Revolution Museum.

We enjoyed our stay but please note:

• bring many leveling blocks
• there is a lot of road noise at the sites along the water; the noise is less of a problem towards the center of campground
• the fire pits are not build up so you can grill unless you have self supporting/standing grill to place over the fire.
