Managed to visit for an overnight on a sunny weekend-a miracle! Beautiful views and great secluded camping areas. Great little hikes with beautiful water features (not quite what I would consider waterfalls). Great views of the ocean too and beach combing if your up for exploring. Old growth trees I couldn't stretch my arms around! Not sure I'd wanna be caught our camping here in the rain but in the sun it was amazing!!!
Beautiful views. Within walking distance of downtown. Nice big wooded trees on a bluff -it's really nice! Can get busy and the campgrounds are close together but not too bad. Enjoyable overall experience.
I want to start by saying this isn't my type of campground normally. Mainly because I don't have kids. However my visit her was with my little niece for a weekend trip to the zoo and for that is was awesome! Campground was in good shape, and there was tons to do such as mini golf and a water park which were the biggest hits with the kids. It was pretty busy though because of that. Sorry no pics as I they all have my niece in them and don't feel comfortable posting those to SM. I highly recommend the campground tho if you have kids…or still like to play like a big kid!
Stayed here for a weekend getaway and loved it. Great place close to SLC and park city and for the most part it was surprisingly quiet, tho that could be a fluke as it got busier during the day. Feel like we just lucked out Especially in renting water toys as sounds like they are usually booked out if not reserved well in advance. Nice campsites that appear to stay well maintained.
I really liked that the sites for tents were covered as it got duper hot so the shade was nice!. The facilities were clean and well maintained and the pool was a nice bonus after a day of exploring. Easy access to the Arches. It was a busy place but nice. Good ownership as we felt very welcomed!
Stayed here for a work retreat. It was a little kid geared for my taste but that was to be expected. Nice campground though and beautiful area!
Didn't spend the night here but were there for some day hikes. Cool area with great little easy hiking and beautiful falls. Campground seemed well maintained with adequate facilities and nice spots. Great place to bring the family for the weekend.
Great campground. Great views of the Missouri River. Clean campsite and well maintained. Lots of activities such as fishing along the river. Beautiful sunsets and great camping space. I highly recommend this campground.
Fun overnighter a bit out of the way but I really enjoyed it. Beautiful campgrounds and the owners were super nice!!!
We didn't plan to stay here but had some RV problems on the way down to Arizona. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and it was actually a super clean campsite and very well maintained. Little noisy because of the interstate but that would really be my only complaint.
Stayed here during a few visits to Juneau and really happy I had a rental car as it isn't too conveniently located from downtown Juneau but that was part of the appeal. Quiet because there weren't many campsites and lots to do in the surrounding areas. Well maintained sites. I recommend whale watching if you get the chance and I also did a lot of beach combing in the area.
I don't know that this is going to say anything everyone else hasn't already said, but I will echo their sentiments! A ways into the park, but so worth it!!! Beautiful location with amazing views and great hiking! Didn't need a huge camp spot but it felt quite spacious for two people. Well maintained.
My enthusiasm for this campground is probably somewhat influenced by how beautiful I found Zion to be--epic sunsets and great hiking trails! As far as the campground goes it had some good and some bad. The good was location and also convenient proximity to a store. The negative was that it was a little crowded (and I am crowd adverse) and that the bathrooms could have been better maintained. Nothing that wouldn't stop me from going back tho…had a blast!!!
Did a quick overnight visit here driving through Nebraska. It was a little too close to the interstate for my taste and it could have been a little cleaner, but overall was a nice enough campground and conveniently located. I'd stay there again under similar circumstances but probably not as a getaway location.
I have many good memories of this beautiful campground and fun times. Stayed at the campgrounds, then did a river float. It was everything I wanted in a camping trip--beautiful scenery, awesome sunsets and well maintained facilities. Floating down the Niobrara was an awesome time. You have access to get some things you might need or forget in town, but otherwise it's important to know it is fairly remote for access to things.
Stayed here for an event in Chadron at the cabins and they served their purpose, but they were fairly outdated. Really pretty campground though and I would like to go back tent camping. Typical nice and clean amentities, some small wildlife sightings, overall a really enjoyable experience.
Stayed at this campground a few weekends during college as a getaway. College was in northern Colorado and it was very conveniently located for a quick weekend getaway, not to mention it felt good to lake the big lake access again, as I miss that living in Colorado! Great camping and beaches. Campground was "ye same old campground" so I recommend it knowing you shouldn't be disappointed with the amenities, but it was such a fun couple weekends for me that I can't recommend visiting enough.
Sorry I don't have pictures to share as my time here was from before I had an iPhone and readily available but this was a great camping area with awesome access to biking, the water, etc. really fun if you have access to a boat. campground was well maintained as well. Highly recommend.
I liked this campground for its views and recreational opportunities. The campsites were nice with good amentities, including your own picnic tables, BBQ sites, and it was well maintained. The views were spectacular and loved the opportunities to get out on the water. Very close to SLC too and we did an awesome side trip to Park City to your around and ate a delicious meal at the High West Distillery.
This was a nice campground and well maintained however I found it to be very crowded which has never been my favorite type of campsites. However it is a nice site and is close to ALOT of beauty so the convenience alone makes it worth it.
