My husband and I just stumbled upon this place because we needed a place to stay in the area for a couple of nights. Really nice camp hosts and facilities. All the amenities you will need at $31 a night. I didn’t see any hookups though for people with campers. You can use your generator though. They also have an America flag at each site which I really appreciate.
A great compground in the old growth forest of the Redwoods. Flush toilets, pottable water, coin showers. Only 12 miles from 101 on 36
This place is great! Central to most things yet far enough away that we got a site around 1:30 pm during August. There is flush toilets, and pay showers. It is however located by a busy road but if car traffic doesn’t bother you it’s absolutely wonderful
The most quiet place we’ve stayed on our entire trip. Cool location, since it’s built on the site of an old drive in movie theater. Great hot showers and location.
First time in a KOA and it was very nice. Feels like camping in a hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff
Beautiful out of the way spot beside a river. As long as you don’t mind driving out 15 miles on mostly dirt roads this spot is beautiful and quite. $15 a night, vault toilet and no trash bins.
Great campsites with pad and not busy. Can find opening any time of the day!
My husband and I have been doing a lot of camping and we found this spot in Apgar to be perfect. Plan to arrive early though places fill up from what we saw within 30 minutes or less of being vacated.
My husband and I are car camping for our honeymoon and wanted to find a spot where we could enjoy both the Tetons and Yellow Stone. Lizard Creek provided the perfect in between location. Also a bear box was provided at every site.
my husband and I on our way to Glacier found this great place to camp. They have serveral campsites, electric and non electric plus handicap sites. A neat feature as well is they have one teepee that my husband and I stayed in for the night. To add to this the bathrooms though rustic smelled amazing!
This is an awesome campground. We had a great spot where we could hike up the dunes and see the sunset. Definitely would stay here again.
A nice and quiet place with reasonable prices.There was quite a few bugs though so make sure to bring your repelent.
