Sites are small and not maintained. I would not recommend any RV to use this site. It's definitely more targeted for tenters, van lifers, and maybe a class B.
Sites are close together, little privacy.
The pottable water is damn good though 😂
This campground is a must stop for any camper. Clean grounds, easy access, amazing views, and good privacy. Bring your kayak - an early morning paddle is what everyone needs.
Camping here is wonderful. Far enough from Anchorage to feel as if you're in the bush but close enough to run home if needed. Beautiful views of the mountains and lake. Black bears roam the woods and show themselves in early spring and early fall. Sheep walk the cliffs just north of the campground. Wonderful location to bring a canoe or kayak.
Great campground with paved roads. Lots are spread out well and it is fairly comfortable and quite. Multiple trails travel along the campground and the river. Beautiful Alaskan experience right next to Alaska's largest city.
Family oriented camp ground - packed into a small family lot. Crew are mostly summer out of towners but you'll see the seasoned AKs working about. The tent are is snuggled into the wood and the RVs conquer the shore, with trailers fusing their way in both areas. Overall, great place to sleep, shower, and eat - hard place to stay multiple days due to proximity of others.
