Pleasantly surprised

•Very open sites (not much privacy) but spacious. We stayed in the non-reservable C Loop meaning I arrived at 7:30 am to get in line for a spot, if you get one you pay but occupancy not required. Often people pay for additional days (Tue, Wed, Thur and don’t stay) to have a site for the weekend. •Beautiful shade trees in almost all sites. •Several double sites for tent camping. •Water and electric hook up, dump station. •Foster Reservoir is beautiful. •Lots of paddle boarding and kayaking areas safe from boats. •Off leash dog park is amazing with lots of shade and water for drinking or cooling off. •Playground •Sand volleyball •Horse shoes •Ice and firewood avail for purchase •Boat moorage for a fee

The place is big! We had a great time! Surprisingly quiet both mornings and evenings. Every single person working that I had interactions with were friendly, patient, and smiley! I’ll be going back! It seems I took more pictures of my dogs than I did of the park 🤦🏻‍♀️

Great experience!

Great RV park! All sites are pull through, fenced off leash dog area, several other on leash dog areas, playground, nice little store, ice, propane on site, and most importantly the movies on the old drive-in screen Thursday through Saturday nights during the summer! I cannot comment on the showers as I used my own and not theirs. 30 and 50 amp sites. Nice packed gravel sites with paved patio areas and wood fence dividers between sites. Each site has bistro style table and chairs (2). I really enjoyed!! Oh and if you choose to sit in the nice grassy area (plastic Adirondack chairs provided) for the movie they serve free popcorn 🍿 If you can see screen from your site the sound on FM station. Good wineries close too!!

Fantastic Fall Camping

I really enjoyed the 4 nights we stayed Nov ‘19. We fortunately had great weather, cool evenings/nights and warm days. I arrived before 5:00 without a reservation, picked a site, and called the county parks line to pay (I wasn’t thinking and didn’t have cash to pay on site). Very friendly person on the phone and very friendly camp hosts. The area is very dry right now and I look forward to camping there when there’s been some substantial rain. I didn’t use the showers, my friend did and said they were good, has a good layout. She did recommend shower shoes though. Overall I look forward to going again. It has what I want with access to things I like to do… hiking, kayaking, wine tasting, and campfires! We were in sites 24 and 25, great! The price was right too! $30/night

Glamping

This was my first experience at an RV Resort. It is located right of the interstate but feels secluded. They have both back in and pull through sites, a little tight with neighbors but I was told it is better than other RV resorts. Beautiful landscaping, indoor pool and hot tub, small market, laundry facilities, horseshoe pits on beautiful grassy area. Yes to dogs and cats and no breed restrictions! They have a nice grassy area with poop bags! Bummer no fires 🙁 If fire pits I’d give the 5th star! Also, within 15-20 mins there are amazing countryside, wine tasting, hiking/walking, Willamette River with off leash areas for dogs, and downtown Portland. Additionally there is an off leash park 8 mins away. Overall a good experience, we enjoyed our stay. My photos don’t show much of the place but their website’s photos represent well.
