Travel full time...

Absolutely Gorgeous!

I absolutely love Red Fleet. We stay here any time we are visiting Vernal. Hands down my favorite place. Clean, quiet, boat launch, fish cleaning station, and just beautiful primitive walk up sites. They also have RV parking with full hookups. Tent camping is 15.00 per night.

Dippy Cabin

Wow! We spent 3 nights at Dippy Cabin and what a fantastic place! Amazing views, private drive, mini fridge, and microwave. Full size bunk beds, porch, and grill. Absolutely fantastic.

Seriously

Don't give this place your money. You can't even tent camp here for less than 55.00 per night. Just go another 8-9 miles down the highway to Steinaker where tent camping is 20.00 and RV sites with full hookups are around 35.00.

Very nice

This group campground is very nice and located right next to the boat launch which is probably the most beautiful area in Dinosaur 🦕 Monument. Fantastic hiking and interpretive sites. Really really worth your time.

Tent City (ish)

While Dinosaur Monument is one of my favorite places with it's incredible beauty, this camp site is not great. Dirty, noisy, cramped sites, and it is this way every time we have gone to look at it. Reminds me of a homeless camp.

Hell Yeah...

Love McCoy Flats! Totally free dispersed camping, so crawl off in there and set up wherever your heart desires and your vehicle allows. Fantastic sunsets and spots to accommodate any vehicle with or without 4wd.

No Tent Camping / RV only

I just spoke to the manager here and they do not have tent camping.

Road impassable

We went to have a looks and less than a mile in the road was covered by several feet of snow. We have a 4wd and I couldn't have gotten through without damage.

Closed

The website clai.s this campground is open 24/7 365 days a year. We just drove out there to find it is closed. About 2 miles down the road Coyote Campground was open.
