We have a 38ft travel trailer and we were able to go only about 3 miles up but found a great off the road spot by a creek.

Even though this forest was impacted by the troublesome fire in 2020, this place is still very beautiful. We found a great camping spot close to a hiking/biking trail. The flowers are absolutely gorgeous and the Columbine flower is scattered amount the wildflowers. Also, just an FYI- Columbine is the Colorado State Flower. :)

Bathrooms were very clean and safe. The lake was amazing and the sites are somewhat distance from others. On the flip side you here the next highway, but once I was asleep I didn’t hear anything :)
