Short distance off interstate 90. Half reservable and half 1st come fort serve, pretty easy to get a spot. Nice spots, good privacy. Had an interpreter trail just short of a mile. Free wood each night. Friendly camp-host. Just a great little gem.
Stopped for one night on our way to Glacier National Park. Campground sits off a 6 mile dirt road that stretches from one exit to another off of Interstate 90, so easy access and location. Seemed to be a very well known and popular place. The road was my only issue. It’s full of deep dips and bumps throughout, end to end.
Well located for points of interest and hiking trails. Great 2 mile hiking loop around the lake. Beautiful view of Mt Hood. Clean sights with good privacy between camp spots. Hoping people will remember to help keep it clean. We did see trash left beside the lake where people were lounging or fishing on a couple of days.
Perfect dispersed camp spots close to town but very quiet. Except a few evening fun shots. Lots of spots scattered with plenty of privacy.
Easy access a great pull off on the way to southern Utah national parks. There are a couple of nice trails If you want to do a morning or evening hike. Many beautiful Joshua trees and cactus with cows, wondering about.
Easy and convenient stop for water and dump. It has a big pay parking lot. We didn’t stay so can’t speak to that part.
