A place I always love to stop when traveling to our property in Southern Oregon! When you camp here for $25 a night, you are granted access to the Hot Spring and mineral pool. I love relaxing here, it is very peaceful and a great environment. There are showers and on-site laundry. This place sometimes can be busy, so don’t expect to have the place to yourself. There have been times when camping here, the Hot Springs are packed. Overall, I truly love this place and the space they have created. The town of Asheville is not that far from here—a must visit town!

Ahhh, June Lake. I close my eyes and picture this gorgeous escape. My fiancé and I have going here for many years now. June Lake is tucked away in the Eastern Sierras. Views are absolutely breathtaking. Campgrounds are mostly tent camping. Be nice and courteous to the staff and they will treat you with same respect. The town has a lot to offer. It’s a quaint town with cute shops, fishing and boat rentals and good local bars. Be respectful to the locals, they will treat you like their own. Must check out June Lake Brewery, owned by wonderful people and always tapping great beer! There is a wonderful local music festival that happens during the month of September. If you plan on camping then, make sure you make a reservation because they are always sold out months ahead. If you have the time, take a day trip to Mammoth. There are so many natural Hot Springs between June Lake in Mammoth you can visit for a good soak!

One of our favorite weekend getaways! The lake has been very low due to the drought, but we were still able to take a boat out. Their rates for renting a pontoon boat amongst others are very reasonable and worth the money! Surrounded by nature and the mountains, this campground and lake is absolutely gorgeous! This campground can be PACKED during holidays, so make sure you get your reservations early! Bring your fishing poles and camp shades, it can get very hot!
