Absolutely beautiful spot with lots of dispersed spots to choose from - go a little past the trail head and you’ll see them. Creek, mountains, mountain goats.
Road is rough, had our 1 ton with a truck camper and made it just fine 2WD just had to take it slow. Was the perfect camping spot to wake up early and hike Grays & Torreys Peak!

This was such a surprise and such a great experience. Very clean campground, clean showers, great playground, beautiful beach and view of a lighthouse. Memorable experience for the whole family.

Better than expected, we did not this time but definitely recommend a site on the beach side. They are all great, but stepping to the edge to see Lake Superior took my breath away. Kids had a great time playing on the beach. Nice, quiet campground. Bugs were not bad this time of year.
