First time here from kansas. Was a very breath taking drive in. Took almost 2 hours through the terrain but got through fine with a ram 2500 diesel. You will need 4x4 in a few spots. Probably the most secluded and quietest spot you’ll ever camp. Only down side was the gnats at night but having a propane lantern in the distance took care of that.
Enjoyed how close the camping was to being able to off road but it was a let down in the price for camping and not getting much in return. I know it’s camping but they don’t even offer showers or at least one normal bathroom which I feel since Moab is a premium and as much business at this park has should have at least one shower house especially for the true campers
Was a beautiful drive to the park. About 30 to 40mins off I-70 depending on how you drive. Highly recommend and has become one of my new favorite spots to visit again. Has a very tucked in the mountains feel but has great facilities and was very quiet. Phone service wise Verizon was very patchy but sprint seemed to have 2-3 bars
Was a beautiful drive about 20-30mins off I-70 but well worth it. Beautiful views and so quiet. Very well kept camp ground nice bathrooms and showers. Highly recommend and you won’t be disappointed
