Not great but sufficient

Pros: They offer disability/handicap and senior discounts which is nice, not a lot of places offer that. Decent price. Receptionist was friendly. Had a lot of hiking trails around, cool park area. Everything else was mediocre or disappointing.

Cons: The power went out in the entire park in the middle of the night and didn’t come back on for a while. They had a laundry room, but the two dryers they had were out of service. Showers were dirty, smelled like an old moldy basement, didn’t like them at all. A lot of the sites were not very even or taken well care of. Pretty narrow, and some hard to back into. Not much privacy if that’s what you look for. Some sites are pretty close together. Septic dump was really narrow and you’d have a hard time with a big camper/rv.

I’ve come back twice and would a third time

Pros: nice campground, right on the lake. Has a nice beach access (although keep in mind it may be closed in early summer due to swimmers itch). The staff was really friendly, and even suggested to switch to a better campsite for free. The dump/fill station is efficient and clean. Pretty affordable, and usually have availability. Close to a couple of different towns as well.

Cons: about 3/4th’s of the sites don’t really have much privacy between sites (if that’s a thing you look for). A lot of the sites are kinda uneven, and some are grass, some are sandy.. definitely do your research before you pick a site. No pull through sites, only back in. I really don’t have any complaints. Just things to note.

Pretty campground, cheap, but that’s about it

Pros: The campground is in a beautiful area of the woods. Decent neighborhood right by it. Right on the lake, and about half of the campsites are pretty private compared to other campgrounds I’ve been to. Decent prices.

Cons: The showers were dirty. The staff was pretty rude right off the bat and not friendly at all when there was some miscommunication. Not helpful at all either, they literally wouldn’t help out with anything we needed. Some of the pull through sites aren’t true pull throughs, so just be careful of that when booking. It gets really awkward because it’s actually a double site. You can’t run a generator past 10pm, even if you have a super quiet one, in the camper/RV non-electric sites. Also not a dealbreaker, but the planes fly low overhead and are really loud throughout the day/night. All in all I wouldn’t come back. It’s a shame because the wooded area it’s in is beautiful, just our experience was not.
