Loved this spot so much! Sunsets!

Endless camping opportunities here. Before you cross the bridge there is an opportunity to turn left and camp on the west site of the reservoir. We cross the bridge and continued past the campground entrance, if you keep driving you will find spots along the reservoir with fire pits and tables and bathrooms. If you are over landing there are entrances to drive down to the beach where you can set up wherever you want. Very quiet, beautiful sunsets. Lots of small bugs and moths but nothing biting.

Perfect and stunning quiet spot

We rolled through on a Wednesday. There was two sets of campers at opposite ends. We chose a spot near the end that worked well for our car top camper. Bathrooms were VERY warm. Trash cans at each site. Sprinklers run during the days that say no camping allowed on grass. Make sure to pack away anything you don’t want getting wet. The creek that runs through is gorgeous. We didn’t swim but our neighbors did. Noise travels very well here due to the canyon nature. At dusk, lots of mosquitos, at night as many bats, in the morning dragon flies and fish jumping! Perfect little pit spot.

Simple and sweet

Small loop with camps around along the creek or opposite the creek. Group area at the end with bathrooms in the middle. Many local families come here on main holidays, would avoid during those weekends if possible.

Stunning sites with everything you need

Two loops with around 15 sites each. Camp sites are at the base of giant boulders with trails to turtle rock or other picnic sites. Gorgeous!

Basic off the highway lots of bugs

Better for boaters or fishers. We got eaten alive. Hosts were really sweet. Spots were larger and there was hardly any campers mid week.

Clean, tons of amenities

Great for families who need lots of entertainment. There was showers and washing machine, general store, movie night, playgrounds and more. We stayed in the S loop which is for tent campers which was lower fidelity than the other loops. Our site didn’t have a table, it had been moved to another site so we had to commandeer it. The drive there was a very interesting tour of trump flags Amish buggies and more. Would come back if I was stranded in Ohio, but overall great pit stop for cleaning up on a long journey. They were the only camp with spot open 4th of July weekend in Ohio.

Clean safe pretty

Would stay here again, several different loops of varying style. Many options were available rolling in without a reservation. Each loop had a different camp name, it was confusing at night but in the morning I saw two pristinely located spots I could have snagged. Clean amenities beautiful views. We used a car top tent and had an easy time.

Lots of nature sounds

Free, close to highway, simple amenities. So many forest sounds and sparkles of fire bugs. Only two other people here on July 4th weekend. Great pit stop on a cross country or fun long term camp for van life:

Lots of highway noise but convenient

Very standard rv spots feet from the highway. Hosts are very amicable. Perfect for what we needed, a quick stop on our drive across country. Appears to be lots of activities for kids/families during the day.
