This was the first night of a 7 night camping trip for my friend and I and this was by far our favorite spot of the 3 campsites we stayed at between Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. Quiet, spaces were spread out, and quick access to the Iron Creek trailhead for the sawtooth lake hike and goat lake. The road to get back to the campsite is pretty rough, but if you have a higher clearance vehicle it would be okay (we still made it with a Honda Civic).
We stopped here after striking out finding camping near the Tetons. To get back into Teton Park is probably an hour and a half drive from here. The park was quiet during quiet hours, many families but sites were spread out enough. The campground host was nice enough to give us an undeveloped site knowing there were no other options in the area. The pit toilets were also spotless - the cleanest I've ever seen. Great little spot - especially if you're headed in from east Idaho toward the tetons.
Fairly crowded with many families. My friend and I decided on a road trip fairly last minute and lucked out with camping spot here but were a bit disappointed with the noise level from families, even later into the night (11pm and past) and the proximity of other sites. The area itself and management were very nice. Because we prefer more private/quiet camping spots, we probably wouldn't come back again, but overall it was still a good experience.
