Stars

Don't go the wrong way on the road the ranger will get ya, lol. Stars and the moon where great. A lot of people but still super quiet by 830

Great place to stay in Yellowstone

Site 70. Nice place for a fire. Easy to tent or car camp here.

Complete darkness.

It was a little rough getting back there in my old van, bumpy. We stayed in the paid area with my pass only $10. Walk to the waterfalls. Campground was quite and so dark by 9pm. Lots of open dispersed camping available.

Dry dry

Not a lot going on. Good place to stop to sleep for free. Other than that idk what you would do. If your in a tent, boring.

Secluded and beautiful.

Easy to drive my van on the dirt road. 8 spots about 1/2 mile off paved road. Picnic tables and fire rings and water

Cheap

$28 for a tent site. Showers bathrooms and people. If you don't have a 4x4 this is the place to stay. So many trails so close like 4miles max.

Veiws!!

Had to walk a bit but thats ok. Great veiws no one around. Sadly no campfires, so early to bed. Very close to great trialheads

Sweet

Front desk was amazing. So nice to have a shower. Great beer selection which was unexpected cause didn't think they'd have beer. Tent sites are neat. Didnt think from the pictures I'd have to navigate up like I did. It was good though, quite.

Trails!!

I unfortunately arrived late and ended up sleeping in the dirt in the dispersed camp. I read all was first come first serve this time of year, and I got there on a Friday during perfect weather, thats on me.
But it wasn't all bad. I would recommend bringing ear plugs as many campers like to party late, and the motorcycles start early in the morning. The trails in and around this park are incredible!! Very challenging and spectacular scenery. If you want to summit a mountain you can do that!!

Gorgeous

Best camp site i have been to so far on a month long trip and over a dozen camp sites. 12c on Leigh lake is breath taking. About 2.5 miles hike from trailhead. Bear box, fire ring and right on the water.

Quite

We were the only ones camping. Limited resources but we didn't mind. Found only drivein spots, confused where the hike ins were. Stayed in the spot closest to the private drive. Either way it was good. Lovely scenery.

AMAZING

Rough hike, but worth it for incredible scenery. About a 2 mile hike to camp with a large elevation change. Sleep on Ribbon lake. Fire ring and bear hangers there. Very secluded.

Wow

The veiws, trails, and sites are awesome. The creek with the hot springs are everything. I would definitely go back here. Its a little of a drive from the main road on a dirt road, I wouldn't recommend a small or low vehicle driving that road.

Views

This campground has a great view and is conveniently located to town. Tent camp sites are not fantastic or maintained very well.

Serene

About a 4 mile hike in, but WORTH IT. Gorgeous lake with a incredible sunset and sunrise. Lots of wildlife sounds

Views

Great view. Pretty expensive for a BARE minimum tent site. But facilities are well kept and convenient.

STUNNING

Absolutely beautiful!! If you can camp at the east portal, it's a must!!! Also hikers get to oakwood loop near visitor center, difficult and beautiful.

Amazing

Channels are well maintained and marked. Great viewsAnd challenging
