We loved this campground. Far from most of the hiking and especially from the entrance but the roaring river was definitely the highlight of our trip! Very nice cool weather!
We really enjoyed this spot, we did have to walk everything in but there were quite a few trees to hang our hammocks and had a great view of the cliffs and the lake! Great weather with a wonderful cross breeze! There were plenty of spots available.
Great location, close by many amazing hikes! Make sure to make a reservation in advance, we were lucky enough to get 2 nights but we took some of the last spots.

Our original camping spot was invaded by small ants but the office was super accommodating when we wanted to switch spots. We were able to move to a great spot near the bathrooms. Sadly there aren’t many trees for hanging hammocks in the single spots.

We came in pretty late to find a spot and got lucky to find the one of the last two spots at the first campground outside of arches. It was within 5 minutes of the entrance! We had a walk in spot with great trees for our hammocks but the heat killed us! There’s also boat tours that go relatively late on the Colorado river right next to the campground.
Very welcoming and extremely friendly! Cute spot for tenting but only holds 4-5 tents. Free showers and laundry super close by! Extremely close to the Kanarraville waterfall hike and close to Cedar City.
Such an amazing campground. We were sad to not be able to hang our hammocks or anything from the trees but they wanted to protect the trees from bark beetles. Relatively cheap, big spots, and amazing weather. Tons of spots to pick from as well!
Great location but tiny camping spots, we had to put our tents in the parking spot. Bathrooms are relatively close, and super nice showers but not a lot of shade. Make sure to request a spot with trees for summer months.
