Hidden gem

This is a hidden gem in NOLA, it’s fifteen minutes to the action. And a beautiful campsite. It’s right on the water so you can see yachts and boats come in and out. The grounds are maintained very nicely, beautiful plants etc. nice space and plants in between each campsite so you have privacy . The employees in the office are super kind and helpful. There’s a restaurant on site, which is a new experience for us. The road to get here is rough though, it’s through an industrial park and looks very concerning, but then you come and find this! So nice. It’s also secured for those that are worried, I know I was.

Big! Fun! Clean!

We had a great spot; right on the beach. The park was huge, seemed like a thousand spaces. Would be very overwhelming in the summer time. There were also permanent homes. Each campsite had decent room and a pavilion with the picnic table. The laundry situation was pretty great. There was plenty of room and enough machines for everyone.

Just okay

The resort was mixed in with full timers and mobile homes. The rvs were shoved in between these homes and permanent spots. Some houses looked fairly junky. There was no security, which is the second time I’ve come across that on my travels. The pool was really big and beautiful, the hot tub nice, and the showers very clean. It is not close to the ocean (20 minutes) and was not our first choice. Probably wouldn’t return even though everyone was very friendly and kind.

Huge! Clean! Beautiful !

We had a perfect spot, right on the beach. It is an enormous park, they have beach houses, permanent homes, mobile homes and rv spaces. The RVs get the best spot. The water park looked fun (I was there off season) and everything was clean and the employees friendly. Would stay here again when passing through to a final destination.

Love!!!!

Love everything about this park. It was gorgeous, clean, spacious, friendly, and so fun. We didn’t go check out the amenities really, it was too cold. But, taking a boat to the magic kingdom adds to the magic of the park. My dog loved the dog park. We went at Christmas time and everyone’s campsite was all decorated with blow up and Disney and festive Christmas lights. We don’t have any children but still felt the magic of it. I’d totally recommend staying there if you’re in Orlando and wanting to go to Disney.

Beautiful

This is a fairly small rv resort. It has 58 spots that are fully paved. The grounds are gorgeous. Across the very busy street is a nice hotel that we have access to the pool, beach, and all of their amenities. There is a pool on this side too, which is very clean and heated, but small. If I came back during peak season I’m not sure I’d have any room to get in. The park is on the bay, which is a pretty nice view of the emerald clear water. Laundry facility is nice, only has three units though.

Tight squeeze

The campsite is very clean, and has really friendly employees. Why I gave it three stars: The spots are stacked on top of each other, and it’s all gravel. We had to walk pretty far to get to a grassy spot so my dog could pee. There’s a lot of construction going on around the park and people let their rigs run and it sounds like a semi truck rest area. I wouldn’t stay here again. I’ve never felt more sardined before.

great first camping experience!

We bought our rv and headed out from Ohio the same night, on the path to get to our very first camping experience. The site we got had an awesome view of the water, and the campsites were not too close together. The facilities were clean and the hosts were super kind. Would gladly go back, just earlier in the season so we could enjoy the views better in bar harbor. It was too foggy !
