This was an experience. Driving to the campsite was mildly intense for the subu outback in x mode and no off-road tires. The road was muddy and had a trench in one side of it, there were stretches where standing water was deep and we drove around. Recommend 4x4 or good tires and AWD! The camp ground was so beautiful, would’ve kept going further but didn’t want to push the vehicle.
It often rains in this area so be wise if you go since the road back is going to be flooded.
It was mildly off roady getting to the camping area. It seems you can just pull off into the areas that are worn down to camp. People were cramped and close to each other for this campground! Didn’t see any toilets but there are good hikes right nearby.
It was beautiful at sunset, very nice campground with good hot showers.
Pulled in around dusk and there was a deserted camper there, about 4 pull in sites for rooftop campers. The bugs were insane and 40 must’ve flown into my car when i opened the door for a split second. Other than that, good stop for dispersed campers. Bathrooms were vault.
