Great location, just ok campground

The beach here is beautiful, and it’s lovely to just walk from the campsite and spend the day on the beach. The sites are all small and close together, there’s hardly any room to spread out at all, and we only have a short little 21’ trailer. Nice to have full hookups, though. Our site (one of the forest sites) was right by the campground road and it was hard to wrangle our kids at the tiny spot. The staff are a little rough around the edges. But seriously- A+ for the beach access!

Easy getaway from the city

I love the vibe of this campground - lots of tall trees and shade and a little bit of distance from the other campsites. Right at the back of the campground is a trailhead for some amazing forest hikes in the gorge. There are no hook ups for RVs but every site is big enough to accommodate my 21’ travel trailer. The sign at entrance says 30 foot max length for trailers. There is a faint whoosh sound of the freeway down the hill, but I find this campground delightfully serene even with the distant traffic noise.
