As with all fairgrounds it isn’t designed for camping. But staying at or really near the event is much cheaper than a hotel. Overall good.
Open campsites with not much shade. Easy setup for our campsite. Just passing through.
Really only room for pop ups and tents. No RVs. Gorgeous scenery.
Only camp if you are attending an event. This was the roughest glamping we did as power wasn’t consistent.
This is more of a seasonal camper campground. Everything is designed for the people who decide to live there seasonally. People are nice but it is all gravel and not very comfortable.
A true RV Park where concrete is king and trees don’t exist. This RV Park has a pool but its biggest benefit is how close to the attractions it is.
This campground has a good atmosphere for friendly and neighborly campers. Amazing activities and a large campground.
We did a little weekend getaway to do some geocaching near Utica, IL. Nice pool and great owners!
The lake is nice and the sites are good. A little outdated for amenities but West Bend is just 5 minutes away and has a lot to offer.
Wow! You get your money’s worth here!! The owner takes great pride in ensuring his campgrounds are clean and everything is operational. The lake and pool are great and there is so many activities you can participate in there is NO reason to leave the camp grounds.
We didn’t have a second vehicle so was trapped at the resort and close surrounding shops. The best thing about this park is the proximity to Silver Lake. Not many amenities available here and you need to book way in advanced as Silver Lake is a very desirable destination for dune atv-ing.
We love coming here annually for Mother’s Day weekend. This campground has a lot to offer but is focused for seasonal camping. A lot of amenities and the town is fun to sight see.
We had a great time here! As with all Michigan DNR campgrounds you only get electricity. No full hookups but the camp sites are gorgeous!
We have visited here a few times and this last time was with a large group. We had a blast thanks to the activities and the large campground.
We loved it here! The park is very clean, activities for everyone and they have a great water park.
Such a shame as the majority of the Jellystone campgrounds are nice to be at. This is truly a seasonal friendly resort where the Jellystone rules are very relaxed. If you do not have a seasonal spot you will be stuck next to the 80/94 freeway where it is noisy 24/7/365. The campground also is very dirty and old. Heavy drinking and constant loud and annoying golf cart parades until 1am didn’t help the matter any less. Last disappointment was Lake Michigan is not beautiful near here due to the industry and power plants right on the lake. We will not be going back and even if you are a seasonal camper spend your money elsewhere.
This was a great overall experience. We were right on the canal side and only 300ft away from Lake Michigan. Grand Haven State Parks has upgraded facilities so bathrooms and showering is actually pleasant. Loce this place and will be going back annually.
Right on Cooper Creek “lake/river.” Shaded campsites, options for full hookup and very friendly staff. Cool they communicate via txt msg. Great fishing and the opportunity to rent boats for an affordable rate. Only downfall is no access to Table Rock. If we visit Branson again this is where we will stay. 5 minutes from the strip.
