Easy to locate, and plenty of space!

Right off of the highway, the coordinates took us right to it! The trail is bumpy but not horrible. We’re driving a 34 footer! 10 minute drive to the caverns, and pretty quiet (even considering being on the highway) not too many people have come down here. We’ve stayed 4 days with pretty little traffic!

Great for the price!

Clean, easy to locate, and great for the price! Laundry, bathroom, and showers. Easy to maneuver our 34 footer here. There’s a little dog park area and two dumpsters!

Easy to find / good for big rigs

We stayed the full 14 days! Pros - very easy to locate, seemingly plenty of space (while some spots have neighbors and some do not), tons of geodes and other cool rocks, tons of space to walk and explore, and it is fairly quiet. Cons - border patrol everywhere, some days there were literally 10+ patrol cars riding around, close to the main road so you do hear trucks, Military planes fly through a few times a day - just little things to note in terms of noise level and activity. We felt very safe here, and would absolutely stay again!

Quiet, scenic, easy to locate

We are in a 34 footer! The drive, while do-able, is not necessarily preferable in something 20+ feet long. Narrow dirt road, closer to one lane than two, and no guard rails. We just took it slow and that worked fine for us! It has been pretty quiet (even compared to other BLM sites we’ve visited this month). It’s also January which absolutely plays into the noise/traffic level! It’s chilly but nothing a sleeping bag can’t help! Really pretty walks, and hikes, and lots of room for our pups and kiddos to play. Super easy to navigate, which is always a big plus! We’re camping almost exactly where the pin is dropped. We’ve been able to visit Sedona, the Grand Canyon, and just come back here at night to camp so location isn’t bad either.

Blocked off

There’s an RV stuck in a ditch blocking this entire entrance! If you’re in a camper van it’s a maybe but definitely not in any sort of bigger rig!

Clean, pretty, & easy to locate

We’re full time R.V.ing, and generally use BLM land, but every now and then we opt for an easy to get to space. This was that! It was clean, pretty, we didn’t check out the showers but there were showers and bathrooms. Easy to find, easy to pay (even after hours - it’s a drop box) and the spaces are FCFS. There was plenty!

An easy/quick pull off

Easy to find, and semi-easily accessible for our 34 footer. The road is a little bumpy, but it’s a very short drive to the first pull off. There is a cemetery on the same road, but you can easily camp a decent amount away from it. Just a forewarning if thats not your vibe though 😂 we walked a dried river bed and found lots of cool rocks and smooth river glass.

Beautiful space!

We are driving a big old 34 footer, and this was a really easy access space. We didn’t go far down the road, because we were only staying the night are weren’t super concerned about privacy. Lots of other campers so if you’re looking for privacy I would suggest driving further and checking there! We explored the landscape, collected awesome geodes, and crystals, and the stars at night were incredible!
