what activities does the park offer?
There is a nice new pier on the Gulf. The pool is also relatively new and has a nice splash pad area for kids. There is a cool zip line, too. And of course the beach is beautiful! The park itself probably isn’t offering much in the way of organized activites right now due to COVID19.
As mentioned above, there’s plenty to do. But, COVID restrictions has some things shut down. Otherwise, you can hike or bike the trails for days. The nature center is nice as well. Plus, there’s plenty going on in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, which both are literally right there.
We love the dolphin tour that leaves across from the Florabama! We’ve also watched the blue angels show from a boat. That was fun but not close enough. Restaurants (once things open again) in the area are all great, but Wolfbay Lodge is our favorite. I haven’t had much luck at beach fishing, but the bay side is good. Next trip!
