Hello fellow Texans!

With TPWD opening state parks for overnight bookings, I want to know - where are you heading over the next few months? Let’s avoid sharing exact dates, just locations here. :camping:

The morning bookings were opened we snapped spots at Village Creek State Park & McKinney Falls. If you have any tips for either of those parks, I’d love to know. This will be our first overnight visit at both.

Before the pandemic hit and TPWD closed parks, we stayed at the Palmetto State Park in Gonzales. We loved being in a large RV spot with plenty of room between spaces - we did not feel crowded. Bonus is that it is only about 90 minutes to the Gulf Coast (Port Aransas).
