We are getting older and while we still love tent camping I’m not so keen on sleeping on an inflatable pad or air mattress on the ground anymore. We have a nice double inflatable pad that we would like to continue using but I’m having no luck finding a double cot that doesn’t have that bar down the centre. Those cots are designed for two single mattresses and each person sleeping on each side of the bar. The reviews consistently describe sagging in the material which is a problem for anyone with back issues who wants a firm surface. We could put two cots together but, of course, we then have two bars running down the centre of the bed.
Has anyone come across a firm surface double cot with no bar?
