Not sure if hunting will be open this Season due to COVID-19, But everyone’s needs to get away and explore the mountains. Right now it’s a good time to go scouting and hiking before the Heat starts to pick up. Some great areas that I have enjoyed camping while hunting in CA are in Kern County, Carrizo Plains; such a beautiful place when it blooms, Los Angeles Crest; yes there is lots of campgrounds there and Frazier Park, Laguna Mountains; especially when it snows. There is a lot of solo campgrounds that are isolated. I provided some photos of the beautiful views I’ve encountered while camping.
