this area seems huge, but has plenty of roads to get around. If i’m driving from spot to spot. Which areas are the best to see?
The nature center, the Buffalo range, the homestead, and visit all the old furnace locations. If you’re into offroad & 4x4 check out turkey bay. There is really more than one can do in a weekend if you take your time and really visit each location.
Stop at the visitor center (when they open back up) and pick up the folding map for $3. There are numerous roads you can drive thru the park. They get more difficult by number, the 100s are doable in most any vehicle.
The campgrounds are nice, or you can get a dispersed camping permit and camp anywhere you like.
