Condensed water

Hey! I just got a general question and I am hoping that this is the right place. So I’ve stumbled upon a material that allows water vapor diffusion but is water repellent at the same time and I was wondering if that would be a good material to make tents. I haven’t camped that many times but I remember finding the condensed water in the morning annoying. I want to know if other people have the same problem / if they find it annoying as well or if there are solutions for it. I would like to know before I put in any work that might be futile. Thanks:)

Similar materials, Gore-Tex, have been around for decades and used in tents. The difficulty is transmitting enough moisture through the membrane. Using a tent fly to insulate and keep the tent fabric warmer greatly reduces condensation.
