When you’re driving through oregon on I5, where are your favorite spots to camp?
In Southern Oregon: Valley of the Rogue State Park is really nice to camp at or if you’re by the California border, Emigrant Lake is really nice.
Middle of Oregon: right outside of Eugene is a nice place called Armitage Park campground.
Northern Oregon: it’s not right off I-5 like the others but it’s not far from it. Silverfalls State Park is beautiful.
Actually I like the parking lot at Seven Feathers Resort. Its free, the restaurants are good, there is music in the casino. Great coffee across the street at the big gas station. The people are always friendly in the parking lot.
Just a few miles off I-5 is Champoe State park. I love the big oak trees and the farm fresh foods that in season may be found. I’m not sure about the spelling though
