simple question - what’s some good camping around des moines?
We live in Des Moines but haven’t camped here! (too close to home). The closest park is Walnut Woods State Park which has a small campground. I cannot speak personally about the camping there but there are some short hiking trails. We will be doing an overnight with our granddaughter hopefully later this year and will be looking to stay close to home so will be following to see if anyone else responds. In the meantime, I would check out reviews on The Dyrt! Have fun!
