Craters of the moon is awesome, but what else is there to do and camp around there? thanks!
When we passed through craters of the moon we drove on to the Sawtooth mountains. There are some artsy towns going in from the south. We stayed in a small campground right near the ranger station at the south. Most of the other campgrounds were filled up. When we drove further down the road our campground was on we found lots of cool dispersed camping. There are also a group of campgrounds in the middle of the area that had a lot of activities (make a reservation for them if you can).
