Loved our stay!

Lori was great with booking process, the general store has ice, and anything else you could forget. They deliver firewood to your site. We brought our 7 year old and we visited the playgrounds, hiked the trails and explored the creek area. Boat ramp near by, we had site 54 which was nice and private. Site had fire ring, picnic table, water and electric. 25 mins from dt Lancaster which we visited as well. I’d definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Campground

My 12 yr old son and I camped right on the creek with steps down to the bank. It made for great easy access for out kayaks and for just playing in the creek with the dog. The owners are super nice and accommodating and I would definitely recommend this campground. We also drive down one mile to Lake Aldred and put in there for an easy all day paddle.

Nice stay even thru the rain

Pleasant people and food delicious ice cream quiet place would be fun bicycling helpful staff and beautiful terrain.

Rv park, not a campground

I arrived with hopes of staying for three nights. Unfortunately, most RV's here are long term & seasonal residents. One one bathroom had flushing toilets and one was clogged, over flowing garbage, paid showers, extremely rough broken roads made it difficult to get in and out of campsite. I was scared in my space and asked to be moved out in the open, not usually a preference for me. Lori was polite, answers the phone quickly and has lots of answers to my questions. That was great. Other than Lori's wonderful presence, this "camp" was a massive let down. I will be leaving at sun up.

Beautiful creek to camp next to

We loved our time staying creek-side here in the summer. The creek is gorgeous and crystal-clear in places. Decent facilities and market. Pet friendly and very lush with greenery.

Nice quiet spot for the weekend

Nice quite spot secluded off the beaten path. Campsites have plenty of room and give you options to be along the creek or tucked back in the trees. We had a huge spot on the end and hardly saw the other campers. Dog friendly. Office staff were very helpful. You can buy firewood along with many other supplies in the camp store.

Only complaints are that it's a little pricy for just staying in a tent. You do have water and electric in each site. Also, the bathrooms could definitely use an update but we're camping so didn't mind it too much.

Super close to some really great hiking trails. We'll be back!

One of our favorites

This is one of our favorite camp grounds. We always book their group site, it's huge! The sleeping area and cooking/hanging out area are way spread out so if you have kids you don't have to worry about noise at night. It's tucked back in a corner, you don't even see a neighbor!

Really enjoyable

We really enjoyed this campground. We booked late and ended up being given the group camping site because it was all that was left. We had a ton of space and it was more secluded than other sites. There were activities for the kids, a playground, access to some nice walks. Overall, family friendly. The campground as a whole was walkable which is nice. I’d definitely go back here.

Pequea

If you are looking for a secluded camp experience, this is your place. There are few activities on the campground but there are amazing trails in the area. It is very close to the susquehanna river and the cold cave. The campsites are large and include a firepit. They supplied a massive pile of firewood for free. There is a playground on the campground for those with children as well as a large field for children and adult children alike.
