The main camping gate may be closed daily due to heavy day use traffic. Please call 352-465-8550 between the hours of 10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. for the gate code.

The Physical address of the Campground is (18185 SW 94th St. Dunnellon, FL 34432) and is NOT the address of the Main park, (19158 SW 81st Pl Rd. Dunnellon, FL 34432).<br /><br />The park is open year round.<br /><br /> This is a complete redesign and expansion of the campground.The day use area is separate from thecampground in locality. Please contact the campground for any questions regarding camping.<br /><br />Sites 5, 15, 17, 29, 32, 38, 52 and 53 are designated ADA sites suitable for RVs and trailers. They will not accommodate tents needing to be staked down. Tents must be free standing. Campers using tents and needing ADA accessible sites should use caution. There are ADA accessible Tent Only sites, where tents can be staked, at the park. Please inquire. No campers will be allowed to pitch tents in campsite buffer zones.For everyone's enjoyment, including pets, please observe the pet camping rules found in the complete Florida State Parks Pet Policy, <a href="https://www.floridastateparks.org/things-to-know/pet-policy">click here</a>. <br /><br />Pets are not allowed in any state park cabins or cabin areas. <br /><br />Service animals are welcome in all areas of the park where visitors are normally allowed. <br /><br />No one younger than 18 may camp overnight unless accompanied by a responsible adult, who will remain onsite for the period rented.</li>

The hot water tank in the Loop C Bathhouse is inoperative, therefore the Loop C Showers are unavailable. The Park is soliciting bids for immediate repair, but no repair date is currently scheduled. At this time, all campers are advised to use the showers in the Loop B Bathhouse. We apologize for any inconvenience

State Park

Rainbow Springs State Park’s campground is located along the Rainbow River. Rainbow River camping takes place at a separate facility a few miles from the main headspring and day use area.

Rainbow Springs camping sites have water and electric (20, 30, and 50 amp), and are equipped with sewer hook-ups. Maximum RV length = 103 ft. ADA accessible restrooms are available. A dump station is located between the upper and lower campgrounds. Pets are welcome in the campground but are not permitted in swimming areas or buildings.

Amenities include a recreation hall, showers and restrooms, laundry and playground. Access the river from the campground to fish, swim or paddle. Canoes and kayaks are available for rent from the campground office.
