To protect our forests, do not bring your own firewood into the park. The Emerald Ash Borer infestation is spread by moving infested wood to a non-infested area. Wood is available at the park for a donation.

If arriving after sunset, please call the park before 5 p.m., at 352-463-3420, for the front gate combination and directions to thecabins.<br /><br /> Visitors should call the park for updates on the condition of the spring. <br /><br />A maximum of six persons is allowed per cabin per night. Cabins have two bedrooms, one with a queen-sized bed, and the other with two single beds.Kitchens are outfitted fully except forpaper products and food. Cabins have central heat and air conditioning. Inside gas fireplaces are operational during cooler months, but are non-working inthe summer months, May through September. The L shaped porch has tworocking chairs, swing, and picnic table. There is an outside picnic tableand grill behind each cabin. Firewood may be obtained at the park. Please call the park for more information about the cabins.<br /><br />For everyone's enjoyment, including pets, please observe the pet camping rules found in the complete Florida State Parks Pet Policy, <a href="https://www.floridastateparks.org/things-to-know/pet-policy">click here</a>. <br /><br />Pets are not allowed in any state park cabins or cabin areas. <br /><br />Service animals are welcome in all areas of the park where visitors are normally allowed. <br /><br />No one younger than 18 may camp overnight unless accompanied by a responsible adult, who will remain onsite for the period rented.<br />

Directions

Main entrance is located on the south side of the highway about 1/6 mile East of the Suwannee River on highway 19 in Fanning Springs, Florida. The town is approximately 40 miles west of Gainesville Fl. via highway 26 to Fanning Springs, then north on US highway 19 about 1/2 mile to the park. It is also about ten miles north of the town of Chiefland on US highway 19.
