About

We offer 4 cabins available for rental. All are identical in size and layout and sleep up to 4 people. Kitchen includes microwave, mini fridge, and sink. Admission to Devil's Den is separate.

Must be 21 or older to book AND to stay on the cabin property!!

We offer a vast R.V Park with 32 sites. Most sites offer 30/50 amp hook-ups, water, and sewer. Reservations are required. Admission to Devil's Den is separate. (Site rental does not include an RV.)

Gaze at the stars and enjoy all of nature's wonderful sounds as you spend the night in our tent campground. Select sites have electric/water hook-ups. There are porta-potties on site in addition to our two bathroom/shower facilities.

Campers must be over the age of 18, or with a parent.

Amazing Spring!

Devils den was fantastic and looks just as incredible as the photos online. The campground was ok, nothing special but great for an overnight to explore the spring!

Not great

Just a row of gravel sites. Not very level. Bathrooms were not the best BUT if you go to the Springs it definitely makes it worth the trip.

Gorgeous Views & A Restaurant

Its been awhile since I've been here but the springs are GORGEOUS! Lots of facilities including a restaurant if it's still open. The other campers are...wild. Avoid holidays if you're not a partier.

Never Stay Here

Sites had glass, cigarettes and food waste spread throughout. The sewer hook up was too far away. Ground was not level. Drive way will ruin your suspension. The dump station is positioned to empty on the way in!!! Trees were not trimmed by it and it snagged and ruined our awning.

Trash was overflowing. Dumpsters overflowing.

I walked into the bathroom and immediately left because it was incredibly unsanitary.

Devils Den RV

We loved several things about this campground. One, it’s not huge and the sites are a great size. There are back in and pull through available and most are nicely shaded. Next, it’s just a quick walk to the spring. While it would have been nice to be able to just jump in and out of the spring at our leisure like at other springs, we understand it’s a small space so the required appointments and time slots are necessary. I think it would be a great place to camp and get scuba certified. There were LOTS of divers and it was cool to watch them too.

In all, the kids had a BLAST with about twenty other kids playing manhunt and running around. Great little spot.

Great for snorkeling

The campsite is nothing to write home about, but I had an amazing time snorkeling here. The location is really convenient and close to Gainesville, so if you want to spend some time being active in the water during the day but want to chill and go see a movie in a theatre at night, you can totally do that. There are a ton of great restaurants and shopping nearby. It’s nice that you can come to snorkel but also have a really inexpensive place to stake your tent at night.

Amazing hidden gem. A must see for divers & exp snorkelers. Clean an safe campground. Local weekend entertainment, pool, hot showers, and additional places to explore within walking distance. We will be back.

Best place around for scuba and snorkeling

Beautiful campground with nice bathrooms. They have scuba lessons in pool if you have never dived. They also rent the equipment for both scuba and snorkeling. They have a covered picnic area

Coolest Experience!

Awesome place to snorkel and scuba dive! The water is crystal clean blue but very cold. We made the mistake of not bringing wetsuits and it was freezing after a while, so definitely bring a wetsuit if you can. Campsites are available and well maintained.

Very pretty

This place is very interesting and fun. We purchased masks and fins from their store, price was marked up to bad. You enter the caved area and wind down the stairs to the water. The light comes through a hole in the ceiling. The fish were swimming all around us. The water was a little chilly but I didn’t need a wetsuit. You can also scuba dive.

Camping next to the Spring

Devil’s Den Spring is a one of a kind spring with diving and snorkeling offered. We camped here and were the only two in the campground since it was summer and their slow season. The bathrooms were clean and showers were available. The store also rented out snorkeling and diving equipment.

No where near town, not a very exciting destination after all. Other than a photo opportunity the water is cold and not much room to swim.

Oh down the rabbit hole I go

this is privately owned and operated no spring to swim in for non-snorkelers. There is a minimum age limit. Snorkeling and diving only You cannot go down unless you have a mask and they watch you buy camera to make sure your snorkeling and not just swimming. The water blue and cold Abundance of wildlife in the natural spring. The campsite was quiet Only three campers including myself. Camping Rates are low so if you need a place to stop at try here. They offer veterans and military discount you can rent gear and buy a few things like snacks defog for your mask and a couple other essential items. The showers are very hot I stayed in a bit past my Timeline up a public facility use, ha ha. Campsite was decent has portable toilet water Spicket and electrical at campsite think I stand a campsite number 13 but it was not assigned. There was a work truck that kept coming and going until about 8pm. And then left for the evening. There is a two hour time limit for snorkeling but you can walk the grounds. There is a swimming pool to enjoy it if you go camping you’re allowed in no extra charge but if you don’t go camping you can pay a fee and go swimming in the pool. I had to make-shift a tent because I wasn’t expecting to go camping just stopped in for a bit and Decide to stay the night.

Neat spot

The campground has cabins, RV hookups and tent sites. It's nothing to write home about. It was just convenient to be close to the springs since it's a decent drive from any other major city in Florida. The springs themselves are quite cold so in the end we didn't spend that much time swimming - we probably could have driven back home and not camped after all. The Devil's Den itself is very neat to see, definitely worth going to at least once to snorkel or scuba dive. But if you can drive back to wherever you're staying, I would! I only took pics of the spring and not of the campground unfortunately. Enjoy!

Most unique camping in Florida

Beautiful grounds. Separate tent and RV camping. beautiful cabins and pool. But the highlight of camping here is being able to explore Devils Den while snorkeling and or diving. There is a full dive shop on site with equipment rentals. Nice picnic areas and community fire pit. Neighboring experiences include botanical garden and horseback riding - 5 min from major retailer to restock supplies. Bathrooms are not the best but they are clean. Staff is very friendly! No pets outside of RV area - strictly enforced!
