About

Welcome to Crabtree Falls Campground, a gem nestled near Tyro, VA. This spot is perfect for those who crave a mix of tranquility and adventure. The campground is known for its serene creekside sites, where the soothing sounds of flowing water create a calming atmosphere. While these sites don't have electric or water hookups, the trade-off is worth it for the peace and beauty they offer.

One of the standout features here is the friendly and accommodating host, who goes out of their way to ensure campers have a pleasant stay. The campground also has a small market, so if you forget any essentials, you can easily pick them up on-site. Pets are welcome, making it a great spot for families who want to bring their furry friends along.

For those who prefer a bit more comfort, there are RV sites with full hookups available. Just be aware that maneuvering larger rigs might be a bit tricky, but manageable with some patience. The bathhouses are functional, though some visitors have noted they could use a bit of sprucing up.

The nearby Crabtree Falls is a must-see, offering one of the best waterfall hikes in the southeast. The trail is accessible and provides stunning views, especially in the fall. It's a short trip from the campground, making it easy to explore without straying too far from your base.

Whether you're here for the hiking, the peaceful creekside camping, or just to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, Crabtree Falls Campground offers a little slice of nature's paradise.
