THEFT, LOCKED BATHROOMS, CROWDED

Office hours 9-5 means if you arrive after 5pm you will not receive your access card until 9am. No bathroom, shower, pool. “There is no secure way to leave it for you” seems like an easy fix. Also, a leaf blower started up at around 2am.. WHAT?!! Then shut off in about. 5 minutes. In the morning our bike cables and ropes had been cut.. they were additionally secured by the carrier mechanism which was intact. These bikes were covered and in a cargo carrier as well as a bike carrier. These were not novice thieves, they had experience. Office staff responded to both situations (bathroom and bikes) with no interest. “You have a bathroom in your RV don’t you?” And a shrug about the theft. We would have done better at a Rest Stop on the 5. Do not stay here.

DO NOT STAY HERE

The website is a big friggen lie. Maybe one time long ago it was this nice, but not anymore. We pulled in, and saw drugged out guys walking around with their pants undone, and a wrestling ring setup right next to the office with people messing about. There are other decent parks nearby that should be looked at WAY before this place. No price is worth staying here.

Corporate Park without a soul

Park has all services. Wifi is very bad. They closed the swimming pool a month early although it is 90f in Portland. Dumpsters are overflowing and homeless people and druggies creep through at night and sometimes during the day.

Nice near city of Portland stop

Office hours 9-5p. Simple straight forward after hours process. Clean bathrooms and great pools. Make sure you read and understand the pool rules very well. Many permanent residents. Variety of RV’s. We’re in an end to end site. Site 837. Water pressure is the lowest we’ve ever experienced. Not sure what’s going on but all of the folks we’ve talked to are experiencing the same. Maybe because we’re on an island? You need a card to access the showers and bathrooms. They were out of cards for a couple days so ask when you check in or cal ahead if you’re wanting to use the restrooms or showers.

Great Urban Oasis

Arrived here late for a single night stay on the way to the Oregon Coast. This is a very convenient stopover for those needing a place to stay near Portland. Sites were level and paved, hookups and WiFi worked well, and office staff were super friendly.

Great getaway. I thought at first therewould be a lot of traffic and noise when I got there. But, I was amazed that the Park is clean, quiet. They offer WIFI , 3 pools, laundry, showers and many other services. The management are nice and

I've stayed here several times. I like it as its close to any store I need. They're really good with upkeep and very comfortable place to be.

Good location to downtown Portland

Stayed here many times and it is all about the location. Office staff are always very helpful. Starting to get more full time residents.

Ok park

We stayed 2 days. Good for a quick overnight stay in a pinch. Quite a few better parks along the Gorge. 80% are full timers and their spots are not well maintained. Lots of airport noise overhead. Train goes through but didnt blow horn. Did have full hookups.

A Little Funky But Kids Had Fun

Clean and generally friendly, the Jantzen Beach RV Park is right inside of Portland (at the northern end, close to Vancouver, Washington). It's more in an industrial/commercial area, with things like a Target Store across the street. The park is a combination of a true, more permanent trailer park on one side with more mobile RVs on the other (some looking like they'd been there longer than others). While there are definitely some RVs that were only the weekly or monthly plan, we didn't feel weird checking in for just a night since there were plenty of spots set up for people to come and go. The amenities however (like the pools) seemed like they were able to be used by everyone in both the RV and trailer park sides, so they were definitely busy but not too bad. I also had fun wandering around the trailer park since so many of the sites were from the 1950s or so and had a pretty awesome mid-century vibe going on.

While I thought the odd location in such an commercial area as well as the combination of trailer park and RV park was a little strange, my kiddos absolutely loved the three pools, playground, and basketball hoops. Plenty to check out and explore for them even if this was not your typical "campground" experience. Would definitely stay here for a night or so if I needed a place to stay within the Portland area again.

Decent Large RV Park in Portland with Fun Pool and Playground

Large RV Park with lots of facilities including pools, playgrounds, several places for laundry, showers, a workout room etc. Feels more like a small village with a combination of a trailer park on one side, full-timer RVers in other places as well as spots for overnighters. On Hayden Island in Portland, so nearby to an outdoor mall that includes Target as well as several restaurants. Nice spots though some looked tight, lots of trees, and well maintained with many updates. Some full-time RV’ers had extra stuff around their sites. One drawback is that one side is on a busy road and you can hear traffic from nearby I-5 as well as airplanes flying overhead. Positive side, kids especially loved the pools and playground.
