Backcountry vibes with lake sounds

Tucked off the north country trail path lies a group site and 5 campsites. Nice accede to water Shared fire pit Shared bear bin

No luxuries but there is a beautiful lighthouse nearby

Au Sable East (individual sites)

This was a nice spot - very close to the lighthouse to catch the sunset. Au Sable East has a group campsite and another nearby area with six individual sites. These are pretty close together (not much/any visual barrier between), share a few fire rings and a bear box between them.

Au Sable Lower Campsite

There are two loops of campsites at Au Sable. The lower loop has nice vault toilets and fairly private campsites if you are on the east end. The campground is next to the Au Sable Lighthouse trailhead and the North Country Trail passes through, so in the daytime it is fairly busy. Not far from your campsite is a short walk to the beach where shipwrecks litter the beach. If you hike out to Au Sable Lighthouse in the summer you can feast on wild blueberries.
