Hidden in the trees

I like this park. When we arrived with a reserved pull through site, they asked if we would consider a back in site, which we accepted. There were some park closures due to gov’t shutdown that shifted guests plans. The back on site was really nice against the walking path. The site has full hookups including sewer and cable. The Wi-Fi is pretty good for streaming. I had a little trouble working on a team call but I switched to cellular and it was fine. Both AT&T and Verizon have full bars. We didn’t visit the baths, showers, laundry now coffee shop. The park is quiet and we even got a very friendly visit from the resident black cat, Moses. The sites are level. Be careful on the road in. It’s a little bumpy but it evident they do try to maintain it. It also has two turns that you want to take wide.

Great WiFi, Rec room, and comfort station

This is a nice place with a combination of pull through and back-in spots. Our site (and I’m assuming others) is level with well-packed aggregate. The sites are fairly spacious for this type of layout.

The park is located 10-12 miles outside of Hot Springs. Even though it’s along a highway, it’s quite a ways up a hill and through the woods. We had no issues with road noise at night.

If you want a built-in grill or fire pit, then you’re not going to be happy because they don’t have them. I saw a lot of folks had their own small grills. I also saw a full-size black stone griddle at the rec room, but did not ask if it was available for everyone to use.

Quaint

First thing don’t follow gps to get there for some reason it took us to the owners house they were working on the issue. Once we found out where it actually was it was easy to get to.

We were there for three nights because they were pretty busy and did not have availability but we loved our time there.

My favorite thing was the clubhouse that has a huge porch where you can sit in a rocker and read.

I met the most amazing people who were having a get together and they loved to play games and I had such a great time with them. They belong to smart which is a military travel group and we ended up joining the group because they were so kind to include us.

The manager does a great job of keeping the park up and keeping the restroom and laundry room spotless.

The sites are close to each other but still nice.
