Camped in spot #59. Went back in January and had a great time. The views are breath taking. Just hanging around around the campsite is amazing. No light pollution at night so stars are abundant. The camp sites have shade shelters with tables. Fire ring and grill at each but be aware of the common fire bans in the area. Bison roam the park all over and There are droppings all around. Through out my stay I saw coyote, deer, prairie dogs and mountain goat. There are showers over at other parts of the park but not this camp area. More hiking trails than anyne can need in a few day trip. Take your time and bring water. Weather was abit unpredictable when I went and woke up to snow on the 2nd day there. Trails easy to see still and great back drops. Cell service is very scarce. There is a compost toilet in the camping area.
Great park all around but plan to bring most supplies. Quitaque is very small town with one gas station to get stuff at.
