Sleeping on a massive granite stone

Not your typical campsite! The actual campsite sits on top of a massive granite rock. We enjoyed the privacy of this campground as there was no one else around. There was no running water, or toilets but a solar shower can be rented. The land has a bunch of trails and even offers a small lake or maybe it was pond for fishing. The owners are extremely friendly and great hosts.

One of my favorite highlights of this trip was hearing and visiting all of the farm animals, There's chickens, sheep, a beautiful white large breed dog named Ollie, and a peacock. The peacock enjoyed hanging out with us too. I would recommend this campsite to those who enjoy more solitude, and want a switch from the plain jane campsites. In addition, the hosts offer add on packages such as S'more bundles and farm fresh eggs.
