The campgrounds have few trees which lead to me only scouting it out and hiking the trails nearby. I was set on hammock camping and the site that was open (there were only 2) was not ideal because it had limited trees with one large tree for shade.

The occupied campsite was next to the river and also had no where to hang.

But there was two parking spots for each campsite which is good cause I always travel in a small group for safety.

Benches, fire circles and no wood provided.

If you come with a group and snag both sites it’s a private area just off of the road and easy to get to.

If you hike (or ride) on the local trails you find beautiful scenery
