Luckily we arrived Thursday and were able to find a great spot for our pop up... By Friday morning, the area was very crowded with people looking for campsites til midnight.  By Sat morning, folks were camping everywhere, someone even pitched their tent right next to my car after we went to bed.... .> We left Sat afternoon  since it was noisier than we wanted and were amazed to see hundreds and hundreds of cars parked along the road with camping... I can't imagine how slow the drive out that long road will be Sunday (Fathers Day) Lots of folkls burning fires despite the fire ban..  and someone shooting guns in the distance.. We like more isolated spots.. this is a beautiful  place but would be nicer with fewer folks .
